Proposal for Partnership: Supplying Kivu Heritance Coffee to Kaffi for the 2025 Coffee Season

Kivu Heritance Coffee is a youth-led agro-processing company based in Rwanda, founded in 2021 with a vision to deliver the best coffee Rwanda has to offer. We specialize in Arabica green and roasted coffee, sourcing directly from 8,200 smallholder farmers located along the shores of Lake Kivu in Rwanda’s Western Province. By working closely with these farmers, we ensure both the quality and sustainability of our coffee, while also empowering local communities.

We are eager to bring our rich and distinct coffee to Kaffi’s clientele. To ensure a successfulpartnership, we propose the following steps for collaboration:

1. Samples and Quality Evaluation

We can provide Kaffi with samples of our best coffee to align with your desired flavor profiles and quality standards. This will allow Kaffi to evaluate our coffee’s suitability for your product line, ensuring that it meets the expectations of your discerning customers.

2. Contractual Agreement

Once the samples meet your standards, we can discuss terms for a supply agreement. This includes details such as volumes, pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and quality assurance protocols.

3. Transparent Supply Chain

Our coffee is traceable to the farm level, giving Kaffi a strong story to share with customers about sustainability and social impact. We can provide detailed information on the farmers and cooperatives we work with, highlighting our efforts to promote fair wages, environmental conservation, and community development.

4. Logistics and Delivery

Kivu Heritance Coffee has experience in exporting coffee to international markets. We will work closely with Kaffi’s logistics team to ensure timely and efficient delivery, adhering to all necessary compliance and quality standards for international trade.

5. Marketing Collaboration

We believe in the power of storytelling. Together, we can co-create marketing campaigns that highlight the unique origins of Kivu Heritance Coffee and the shared values between our organizations. This could include joint branding, promotional events, or content that tells the story of our partnership.

6. Long-Term Relationship Building

Our vision is to establish a long-term partnership with Kaffi. Beyond the 2025 season, we are open to co-developing new coffee blends, exploring innovative brewing methods, and jointly supporting projects that promote sustainability and community impact.
